We passed the EAR! (kind of)

Time for a rather happy update from your favorite atmospheric desent experiment team. This Wednesday and Thrursday we had our EAR (Experiment Acceptance Review) and it resulted in a Conditional Pass. That means that while we still have some things to work on we can go down to the Integration Week at ZARM in Bremen. To have come this far is a great success for the team easpecially considering the late redesign. It has been made possible by our amazing team members that have worked litterally day and night to make this a reality. We are definitly a big step closer to launching our experiment. Below are some pictures of the EAR and you can also see our beatiful experiment take shape!

The PCB structure with PCB's are being tested.

Elin connects some wires during the electrical testing. Stefan seems satisfied but John is a bit more sucpision.

The lower part of the experiment mounted on the ejection mechanism. Sexy!

Stefan checks every little detail. Nothing gets past him!

The REXUS rocket simulation module to test the experiment.

This is it for this time. Now we will finish up the last tasks and then it is time for us to part with our dear experiment. Until next time.
