GREETING HUMANS OF THE EARTH (maybe soon Humans of Venus?)

My name is Anna and I'm the Student Project Manager of the BESPIN Project.

I have received the honour of writing our first, official blog post. (Thank you, John and Terese. Mostly Terese. But thank you John for reminding me of doing it.)

 

Here you have me in my office in school. This is where I spend most of my days.

 

 

Right now, I am finishing of some emails and preparing for next weeks meetings. The thing I spend most time on in this project is probably writing emails, preparing and organizing meetings and just general documentation of the project. This might sound a bit boring for some people, since it might not be as technical and scientific as working in one of engineering divisions, but it is actually really fun! And it is actually more technical than one might think. I don't think I would have managed to do this without my technical background actually. As a project manager, I need to sometimes take some decisions regarding the project as a whole, and this requires that I know about every part of the project and know how everything is related and connected. And since it is a technical project, this decision making requires technical knowledge.

 

But yeah, someone has to do the emailing and organzing in a project as well. Even if that means I have to drink at least 4 cups of coffee every day. #coffee4life
