The week after the Delta CDR = much to do

Hello, Anna here!
Now it's my turn to write here again. It's been a while. The last (and first) time I wrote here was in April (?).

Since then, a lot of things have happened. We have sent in a couple of SEDs, presented our design in Oberpfaffenhofen for the CDR, got two visits from Stefan Krämer and Hanno Ertel during the summer and presented the design again.
But the biggest change is something I'm sure everyone is aware of by now: The descoping of the project.

That change solved a lot of problems that we had. BUT! We still have much to do.
Right now, mechanical is working really hard to update the design of the mechanical design. This Friday, it is supposed to be finished and on Monday we have a meeting with Stefan and Hanno again to present the updated design.
Electrical and software is hanging out in the project lab this week and is doing a lot of testing so they have a lot to do as well.
Also, this week all the new courses at school started, which is fun! But it doesn't ease the workload exactly. But we'll figure it out!

What has not changed: Me drinking a lot of coffee. Coffee is important.

Here is a picture from last week, where Electrical and Software showed Stefan and Hanno what they have done so far:

And here is a picture of me, trying to understand the new mechanical design that was dicussed during last week with Hanno and Stefan:
A little bit confusing sometimes. I'm just glad that the mechanical team understood that discussion better than me at least.

And this is our timeline right now. Due to the project major change, we have to work really fast and effective right now to be able catch up with all the deadlines.

Time to get more coffee!
Peace out!
//Anna, project manager
