There and back again

The team is spreading around the world and the final stages of the project is coming together. The experiment is back in Kiruna and the electrical division is working on the signal error that caused lift off and is making good progress. Currently we are a handful of team members in Kiruna and preparations are being done for the bench test and upcoming launch campaign in March. Most of the work is already done and we are integrating all the parts, something that perhaps requires more time than initally expected. With so many people working together on different parts, it doesn't always fit the first time. Not to mention ordering stuff online with weeks of shipping time only to find the wrong measurements. Overall it just requires more time since problems will always arise. But after all we are in the business of engineering and what would it be without problems.
This is how our experiment is currently looking and as you can see the cable management and order is strong within BESPIN. Mostly cables and a trustworthy rubber hammer, for those tight fits. Soon everything will be assembled again and shipped back to germany for the bench test. This time we hope it will stay a little longer until it arrives in Kiruna again for the launch campaign. Quite the round trip!
