Things are coming together!
Hi everyone, it’s me, Oskar from the mechanical division again! It’s been a while since I had the chance to post anything but here we go!
A lot of things have happened since the last blog post but to make this blog post not too long I will write about what I’ve been working on lately and what we Luleå-people have been working on.
Lately I’ve been busy working on correcting some CAD-files, making drawings and 3D-printing parts for the drop test. Below you can see the 3D-printed flare (red) and some brackets for the drop test.

The nose cones were milled out at a workshop here in Luleå and they turned out perfect (except for a slight mishap on one of them)!

Jaka’s beautifully machined parts arrived and assembly of the experiment got started straight away!

You know what also came with the mail? Carbon fibre cylinders! This means most of the parts which makes up the mechanical structure have arrived.

Now we just need to put all the electronics and some more components onto the experiment and we’re set to go!

Well that’s all from me for now! There have been a lot more things going on so I suggest following our journey either on our Instagram (@rexusbespin) or our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/REXUSBESPIN/).
Until next time, arrivederci!
