A last word from the software team

Hej!

It's me again, Nick from the software team. As our experiment campaign is slowly approaching launch and therefore is also slowly going towards the end, I thought it might be nice to recapitulate some of the experiences we had in the last few weeks, and what better way to do so, than to show some pictures :b

Following the Integration Week, we had very little time to work on some of the problems, that we encountered during that event. This meant, that whoever was present, had to lend a hand wherever needed. That's why you could see people working in departments, that were actually not really there own, like our Head of Electrical in the following picture, helping the mechanical team to remove the rods of the PCB structure:

Working on problems often means communicating across disciplines, and I think the last weeks have shown us even more, how important this time of communication really is. Especially when you try to find the source of a problem, that should not be there in the first place. And you know, sometimes, you really just sit there and wonder:

But it is always rewarding when at the end of the day, you can pack everything up, wrap it in bubble wrap, and be proud of what you have done:

All in all, it has been an amazing one and a half years, and I am really glad that I was, and still am, part of BESPIN. I wanna thank all my team members, for the amazing time, the uncountable hours of listening to the soundtrack of Jurassic Park, and the lifelong friendships, that have come out of this project.

I am proud of what we have achieved!

As this will most likely be the last blog post from me, thank you all, who have followed us along this journey, and stay tuned for the posts from the launch campaign!

Nick
